Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and FATESEEK PTE. LTD. ("we", "us"), a company registered in Singapore. By creating an account or using the FateSeek app or website (the "Service"), you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. The Service

FateSeek is a lifestyle and self-reflection app offering content inspired by traditional Chinese culture, including a daily traditional calendar (almanac), personalized daily content and insights, date-selection guidance, and an AI companion for conversation and reflection.

3. Content is for reference only

All content in the Service — including responses and content generated by AI — is provided for general reference, cultural interest, self-reflection and entertainment purposes only. It is not medical, psychological, financial, legal or any other form of professional advice, and we make no promises about outcomes. Always consult a qualified professional for such matters. Decisions you make remain your own responsibility. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies.

4. Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your region).
• Provide accurate information and keep your sign-in credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your account. One account per person.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Service for unlawful purposes; abuse, disrupt or overload the Service; attempt to reverse engineer, scrape or bulk-extract content; resell or commercially exploit the Service without our written consent; or submit content that is unlawful, infringing or harmful to others.

6. Purchases, credits and subscriptions

• Certain features require a paid membership subscription or credits purchased in packs.
• Credits are a virtual item, licensed for use only inside the Service. They are not money, are non-transferable, and are not redeemable for cash except where required by law.
• Credit validity: credits you purchase are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, and every new credit purchase extends your entire purchased-credit balance to 12 months from that purchase; promotional or gifted credits are valid for 365 days from grant; membership cycle credits expire at the end of the cycle in which they were granted. Details: Subscription Terms.
• Refunds are handled per our Refund Policy. Prices may change; changes apply only going forward.

7. Intellectual property

The Service and its content are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. Content you submit remains yours; you grant us a license to process and store it as needed to operate the Service.

8. Termination

8.1 By you

You may stop using the Service or delete your account at any time (see Account Deletion).

8.2 By us, for cause

We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms. Where an account is terminated for cause, unused credits in that account are forfeited and are not refunded.

8.3 If we discontinue the Service

If we decide to stop offering the Service, we will:

• Announce it at least 30 days in advance, both in the app and on this page.
• Close new purchases on the announced date. No further credit packs will be sold, no new subscriptions will be accepted, and existing subscriptions will stop renewing. Any subscription period you have already paid for will be served until that period ends.
• Keep the Service running for at least 12 months from the date purchases close, so that you have the full validity period of your credits in which to use them.

Because purchased credits are valid for 12 months (section 6), this run-off period is set so that every credit you bought can still be used. If any purchased credits are nevertheless unused when the Service finally closes, we will, on request, refund them pro-rata at the price you paid. Promotional, gifted and membership cycle credits are not refunded.

Nothing in this section limits any right you have under the mandatory consumer law of your place of residence.

Sections that by their nature should survive (including 3, 7, 9 and 10) survive termination.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, and our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, and nothing limits your statutory consumer rights.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Disputes shall be submitted to the courts of Singapore, unless the mandatory consumer protection law of your place of residence provides otherwise.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; updates will be posted on this page with a revised date, and material changes will be announced in the app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
